FE/Pipe and Nozzle Pro are finite element analysis software that was designed specifically for the instances where excessive conservatism or dangerous designs might result from inadequate simplified techniques.


FE/Pipe is "sharpening the pencil", and eliminating uncertainty in a calculation. If a WRC 107 method, for example, produces a result within plus or minus 150%, the finite element calculation would produce a result within 15%.
